Three different tools
- Discount cards: negotiated cash rates that may or may not beat pharmacy cash prices.
- Manufacturer copay cards: often for brand-name drugs and often not usable with government insurance.
- Patient assistance programs: income/eligibility-based support for unaffordable medications.
