Description:
Cough Suppressant, Nasal Decongestant
Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to the common cold, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: cough, nasal congestion. Non-drowsy.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients
Each 5 mL (One Teaspoonful): Chlorpheniramine HBr 5 mg; Phenylephrine HCl 2.5 mg
Inactive Ingredients
Citric Acid; Edetate Disodium; FD&C Blue No. 1; FD&C Red No. 40; Flavor; Glycerin; Purified Water; Sodium Benzoate; Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose; Sodium Citrate; Sorbitol; Sucralose; Each Teaspoonful Contains: Sodium 19 mg
Directions:
Find the right dose on the chart below. If needed, repeat dose every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL). Children 2 to under 6 years of age: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL).
Cautions:
Do not use in a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.
